She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Fiala; and parents, Federico Hoffner and Liddia (nee Singer) Hoffner.
Nelida is survived by her son, Jose E. (Marie Morales) Fiala; her granddaughter, Keri (Lucas) Griffith; and her four grandchildren, Lucas, Kaylyn, Jordan, and Lexy.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida 32817.
