Sunrise: May 6, 1949 Sunset: May 21, 2020

Sallie Mae Barrett was the daughter of Henry and Willie Mae Taylor. She was granted her angel wings on May 21, 2020. Her final days were spent surrounded by family. She graduated from John Armstrong Charloner High School in 1967.

Sallie had touched so many people in so many ways throughout her very memorable life. Those whom she touched understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gently smile, and words of wisdom brought so much joy to our family.

She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved God. She could spend hours reading her bible, praying, sharing and spreading her anointment. She enjoyed gospel, watching television, her family and friends.

Sallie Mae is survived by her four children; Marquette Taylor, Raymond Taylor, Tosha Taylor and Keisha Tilghman, her sister Henrietta Taylor, her brother Wayne Taylor, 19 grand children, 12 great grandchildren, 3 nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Her father Henry Taylor, her mother Willie Mae Taylor, her sister Shirley Taylor, her grand children Markida Taylor, Ramonte Taylor, Jira Taylor and Kahzir Taylor precedes her in death.

Flowers can be sent to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions in Longwood, Florida.
