Angela J. Squeteri Oct. 17, 1929 - June 16, 2020

My mom, well she was the biggest die hard CUBS fan. She stood in line overnight with her mother for the 1945 world series. For her 90th bday I had the CUBS organization send her a birthday card, and I swear that was the highlight of her life.

She was born in Chicago and attended North Western University. That started her life long love affair with the piano and singing. She continued playing and singing until the beginning of this year. She was my favorite entertainer. I would call her in the evening and ask her to sing me songs I told her I would put money in her tip jar.

In the 60's we moved to Florida and my parents became restaurateurs. And sometime later getting her license in Real Estate. She loved buying and restoring old historic homes. And did it all while raising her 4 children. Gabriella, Maria, Angelo and Armond Jr.
Avid history buff and jeopardy player never missing it at 7 pm.

My mother, my best friend, my ally she was fascinating to me never judging me always guiding me gently. I shall miss my morning calls with her and sharing with each other. But I know now her and my father are together once again.

Angela Squeteri is survived by her grandchildren, Shelley Zimmerman, Joanie Paxman, Derek Kidwell, Taylor Lanier, Isabella Squeteri, Paul Squeteri, and Mark Squeteri; and 4 great grandchildren.
