William A. Wilson, age 79, of Lake Mary, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Advent Health Altamonte Springs Hospital.

William was born on May 30, 1941 in New York, NY, son to his late parents William and Blanch (Domontru) Wilson. He worked as a longshoreman before he retired and relocated to Central Florida in 1978.

Devoted husband, loving brother, super grandfather, avid traveler, bingo enthusiast, lover of Hallmark films, a coach, problem solver, family poker night champion, a good listener, frequent cruiser, cross country driver to Las Vegas and California, life long friend and amazing Dad.

William is survived by his four sons, William P. Wilson and his wife, Melody, of Longwood, FL, Brian Wilson and his wife, Kim, of Valrico, FL, Keith Wilson of Lake Mary, and Terrance Wilson and his wife, Amie, of Winter Springs, FL; seven grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Conor Wilson, William M. Wilson, Patrick Wilson, Devon Wilson, Andrew Wilson, and Shannon Wilson; and two brothers, Michael Wilson and his wife, Joan, and Stevie Wilson and his wife, Donna, both of Holly Hill, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Sheila Wilson; and three brothers, Ricky Wilson, Gigi Wilson, and David Wilson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL with Fr. Stephen Baumann officiating.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 3 from 5pm to 6:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E State Rd, Longwood, FL.

Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Lake Mary, FL.
