In Memory Of
Henrius Henril'homme Henry
1946 - 2020

Henrius Henril’homme Henry was born April 2, 1946 in Les Anglais, Haiti. He grew up in a small farming village with 16 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving sister, Elisia Henry, who is quick to mention Henrius was their mother’s first son. He received his primary education in Cast, Les Anglais. He worked hard starting his own farm and was married to Marie Dite Telida Henry, at 22 years old. They were married for 29 years until her passing in 1997.

He fathered fourteen beloved children and is survived by eight: Asnac Henry (Asna), Enorc Henry (Lucia Laguerre), Asbel Henry, Henrilienne Henry Riley (Tony, Jazmine, Jovan “Jovwan”), Henrita Henry (Widmiyar, Suszanne), Elmita Henry Louissaint (David, Kevin, Darcelle, Drew), Vanita Henry, Gloidette Giles (Donna, Grace, Daniel).

In 1985 he moved to the United States to pursue the American dream. That year he joined the First Haitian Free Church of Nazarene and began working at Disney. He, like many other immigrants, often worked three jobs to provide a better life for his family. He sponsored eight of his children and two grandchildren to come the United States from Haiti. He loved all of his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews very much.

In 2009 he retired from Disney and returned to Haiti. Where he remarried and is survived by, Marie Jeanne Bernadette Civil Henry and gained four loving step-daughters (Lourdjye, Rood Faranda, Clemancina, and Stephanie Pierre Louis).

He was so happy and proud of his family. He went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
