In Memory Of
Lois Mae Vasquez
1927 - 2020

Lois Mae Vasquez, age 93, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was born in Fort Benton, Montana on August 30, 1927 to parents John Bach and Hilda Mae Bach of Highwood, Montana.

Lois truly had a heart for service. She was a dedicated registered nurse for 42 years. Two of those forty two years she served as a civilian nurse in an Army hospital taking care of Vietnam vets that had returned from war. She took great pride in her profession and excelled in it. After she retired from nursing, she found a passion for quilting and gardening, which she found great solace in. Lois was a person of gentle strength. She had a quiet, warm, gracious and loving soul. She also had an adventurous side to her that few knew about. She had a strong will and spirit. Lois was a very wonderful loving wife to her husband of 70 years whom she met while he was stationed in Great Falls, Montana. She was also the best mother to her three children that you could ask for and a generous and loving grandmother. Lois will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Lois is survived by her loving husband, Domingo Vasquez; cherished children, Cristina Vasquez and Carlos (Mary Pat) Vasquez; grandchildren, Sarah Vasquez, Jessica Vasquez and Keith Vasquez; and one brother, Joseph Bach of Fort Benton, Montana. She is preceded in death by her son, Ramon Vasquez.

A small memorial service will be held by close family and friends on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funerals, Cremations & Receptions - East Orlando Chapel (895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822).

In loving memory of Lois, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Comforter or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
