Charles Frederick Fry, Jr, 73, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2020 in Deland, Florida. He was born on November 13, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Charles and Dorothy (Rodd) Fry.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Fry, his father, Charles Fry, his brother, Timothy Fry, and his daughter, Gloria Fry.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Dorothy Fry, his sister, Susan Whritenour and her husband Robert, and his brother, Jesse Fry. Also, his son, Joseph Fry and his wife Rachel, and his son, Dennis Proell and his wife Natasha; and 5 grandchildren, Joseph Jr, Leilani, Reagan, Kyle, and Sofia.

Charles Frederick Fry Jr. led a fulfilling life, he graduated from Edgewater High School and proceeded to serve his country in the United States Air Force. While serving, Chuck was stationed in the Philippines in 1969 where he met Erlinda Mendoza. Erlinda and Chuck got married and had two kids, Joseph and Gloria. After leaving the Air Force, Chuck worked at Vaughn Press and Moran Printing while raising his children. Chuck was remarried in 1992 to Mary Proell and gained another son, Dennis, in the process. Mary and Chuck spent 25 wonderful years in love.

Chuck was baptized as a child in 1954 and continued his walk with Christ throughout his life. He enjoyed a life filled with love; creating memories and meaningful relationships with his wife, kids, grandkids, family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, Florida. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM.
