Linett Robertson of Orlando, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the age of 91.

Linett was born to parents Eliza Jarrett and Ernest Reid on February 19, 1929 in Watt Town, St. Ann, Jamaica, W.I. She spent most of her formative years in Kingston, Jamaica. She developed a strong relationship with Christ from the age of 8 and was a devout Christian until her passing. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, both in Kingston and in Burnt Ground, St. Elizabeth. She worked diligently for decades until her immigration to the United States. Her work for the Lord expanded beyond the four walls. She was instrumental in leading many to the Lord and challenged others to a closer walk with God. She is known for being very creative and an out of the box thinker hence the birth of the annual Christmas plays which she wrote and directed each year in her church.

Linett worked at the Y.W.C.A for many years and was considered an employee of high integrity and excellent work ethics. She was strong, driven and a committed fighter for her goals, she never gave up. She was a fun, loving, spiritual, and forever smiling woman. She touched everyone's heart and her smile would always brighten a room. Linett had a quiet confidence and loved helping people, she was a true partner and help mate.

She was a loving wife to the late Reverend Ronald Robertson for over 30 years until his death. Their marriage was an example to many, and their love story is an inspiration that lives on. She worked alongside her husband winning souls and touching lives. She never wavered in her commitment to discipleship and building the church. In the United States she initially resided in Winston-Salem, NC where she worshipped at Bible Way Holy Temple and Newness of Life Family Worship Center. Later she moved to Orlando Florida where she has been a part of the Refuge House of Praise family pastored by Bishop Curtis Sinclair.

Linett is survived by her children, Samuel, Carol, Grace, and "daughters" Sharon and Carmen, her grandchildren Tiffany, Simone, Natalia (Bernard), James, Myles, Shanice, Shantae and "granddaughters" Natalee and Shanee. She also leaves great grandchildren Affadasia, Aneisha, Ijah, Ilia and Liam as well as great great grandchildren, Amiir and Amariee. She was an amazing mother always showing unconditional love.
