In Memory Of
Eric Henry Eden
1931 - 2021
He was a loving husband for 66 years. A loving father for 64 years, and a caring grandfather for 34 years.
Eric was born and raised by his widowed mother, Gladis, since he was seven years old. He serviced proudly in the United States Air Force. He married Mary Catherine Rhodes from Amarillo, Texas. He raised his family in Miami until they moved to Orlando in 1979, having retired early from Eastern Airlines as a Certified Airplane Mechanic. Eric was also a jack of all trades, always around to help anyone that needed something fixed or built. He loved dogs of all shapes and sizes. He enjoyed camping and travelling. Eric was someone you could rely on to be there when you needed someone. He will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine; his two sons, Rodger and Ryan; and his mother, Gladis.
Eric is survived by his sons, Richard (Mayra) and Randy, his daughter in law, Tina; his five grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Sophia, Jovani, and Jaslyn.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10:30 am at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Winter Park, Florida. He and his wife will be laid to rest on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
