Rene Caraballo-Velez, 88, of Tallahassee, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Rene was born on January 26, 1933 in Yauco, Puerto Rico.

Rene is survived by his daughters, Lorraine Caraballo-Velez, Maribel Caraballo and Raquel Ramos Delgado; grandchildren, Franklin Velez, Jr., Joseph Cartagena, Moriah Velez, Mia Caraballo-Velez, Sean Caraballo-Velez, Jared Caraballo, Nerida Miller, David Garcia, Magda Reinwald, Gisselle Furet and Sara Andino; and great-grandchildren, Bella Cartagena, Tamara Rosa, Shelby Reinwald, David Garcia, Jr., Izayah Garcia, Iyanah Garcia, Izrayel Garcia, Izaac Garcia, Jayce Salazar, Gianna Furet and Gavin Furet. He is also survived by his siblings, Santos Caraballo-Velez, William Caraballo-Velez, Neftali Caraballo-Velez, Maribel Caraballo-Ramos and Ana Caraballo, and his ex-wife, Hilda Perez. Rene will be dearly missed.

Visitation is Friday, February 19, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a funeral service at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822.
