In Memory Of
Susan Ann Birkett
1950 - 2021

On February 23rd 2021 Susan Ann Birkett, loving mother of four passed away at the age of 70.

Susan was born on September 29th, 1950 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Doris Ann Murphy and Gerald Delisle. She raised four children: Russell, Kimberly, Gregory and Jason. She was disciplined in her faith. She went to Church every week, read her bible every night, and acted as a choir member as well as a Sunday school teacher at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God for over 30-years.

There are few people who embody the teachings of Christ more than Sue. She lived to teach the word of God to those around her. Sue truly exemplified what it’s like to be a dedicated mother, a caring daughter, a fantastic grandmother and a devote Christian. She showed her faith by giving tides, praying for anyone who needed it and volunteering within the Church - giving herself wholeheartedly to those less fortunate. She was caring, kind, and empathetic.

She cared deeply about her family. Her kindness and compassion rang through everything she did including singing happy birthday each and every year for her friends and family. Her calls brought smiles to all those fortunate enough to know her. She loved nature including fall weather and going to the beach, she also enjoyed musicals, and the New England Patriots. Her positive spirit and infectious smile will be sorely missed.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Doris and Gerry, her brother, Gerald, and her eldest son, Russell, and grandson, Cody. She is survived by her siblings: Claire, Kenny, Gail, Peggy, Stephen, Nancy, David, Mark and Lynn, her children: Kimberly, Gregory and Jason, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Saturday March 6, 2021 from 10am to 12pm with funeral services starting at 12pm Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).

Interment will follow at Queen of Angels Cemetery, Winter Park Chapel.
