Scott David O’Connor b. 1959 - d. Feb. 21, 2021. Born in East Meadow, NY, David was a long time resident of Maitland, Florida.

He was a graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy preparatory school in St. Petersburg, Florida, received a BA from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire and an MBA from Rollins University in Winter Park. David was a lifelong habitué of his family’s summer residence in Lavallette, NJ. David served as a trust officer of NationsBank and its predecessors for many years before founding Orlando Investment Partners, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm. He was active in his community, serving as a member and as chair of the City of Maitland Police & Fire Pension Trust Fund for many years, and was an active participant in The Boy Scouts of America with son Ryan, an Eagle Scout. An enthusiastic athlete, David was point guard of the New England College varsity basketball team and an avid skier, surfer and golfer.

He is survived by sons Ryan and Colin, brother John, sister Gracia and a niece, grandniece and three nephews.

David was loved by his family and his many friends and will be sorely missed by all.

Private services will be held by the family.
