In Memory Of
Kathleen Susanne Ritter
1974 - 2021

Kathy passed away unexpectedly on Feb 23, 2021 in Orlando, FL of heart failure. She is survived by her mother Linda Swanson, sister Deborah Osborne, and ex-husband and friend Tom Ritter.

Kathy was born in Kalamazoo, MI on Feb 12, 1974. She graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Music. She obtained her Masters of Science degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI in 2002. She specialized in sourcing, procurement and international manufacturing, first at Jockey International Inc in Kenosha, WI and then at Jerry Leigh Entertainment in Orlando, FL where she became synonymous with Disney Souvenirs. Kathy was also a senior tax analyst with H&R Block, helping folks and businesses prepare their tax returns for nearly 20 years.

Beyond work, Kathy loved to enjoy life by traveling the world, preferably by cruise ship with her good friends Emily and Yolonda, or by visiting her niece and nephew.

Kathy had a spirit for adventure and a kind, sweet heart. We will all miss her and her beautiful smile dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm Thursday, March 4 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. Due to Covid restrictions, maximum attendance will be kept at 50 persons.
