Alan Gowen of Orlando FL passed away on March 6, 2021 at the age of 57. He was born on December 7, 1963 in Ypsilanti, MI and was the third of four children.

Alan relocated with his family to Florida as a child and again to Honolulu, HI as a young adult. He found success in the water sports business and made lifelong friendships with so many. He had a love for surfing and travel ,and was a world history buff if there ever was one. It was there that he met his wife Toshiko and had two sons before eventually moving back to Florida where their daughter was born.

There are too many great stories to tell and wonderful things to say about Alan. When you had his attention he made you feel so special, and it was special. Alan was loved by his family and friends and will be forever missed by us all.

Alan is survived by his wife Toshiko Gowen, son Max Gowen, son Nicholas Gowen, daughter Tiana Gowen, mother Mary Reinhard, brother Tony Gowen, sister Glenda McGraw, sister Jennifer White and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Glenn Gowen.

A Celebration of Alan’s life will be held at later dates; Cocoa Beach, Fl and Honolulu, Hawaii.
