Rebecca M. Valentin
1988 - 2021

Rebecca Valentin, lovingly referred to as “Little Becca”, was born at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York on November 14th, 1988. She was baptized at the age of four, became an Orlando, Florida resident in 2003, and graduated from Freedom High School.

Rebecca had a larger than life personality, a wonderful sense of humor, she loved to laugh and make others laugh. Among her hobbies, some of her favorites included writing poetry and journaling. She was an avid reader and lover of mystery novels and often spent her downtime listening to music and dancing. Rebecca loved traveling and spending time at the beach, so much so that she had spent the weekend at the beach with her parents, Rebecca and Steven Waugh, several days prior to her passing. She was the light of her loved one’s lives and deeply devoted to her family.

Rebecca passed unexpectedly on Friday, July 16th, 2021, in the comfort of her grandmother’s home. Rebecca is survived by her parents; Rebecca Waugh and Steven Waugh; Grandparents, Martha Martinez, Diane and Elier Rivera, and Anthony Waugh; her aunts, Damaris Colon, Maria Colon, Melissa Ochoa and Eliana Rivera and her Uncles Fernando Colon and Robert Perez. Little Becca is preceded in death by her brother, whom she adored, Angel Rodriguez.

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 30th, at Newcomer Funeral Home on Goldenrod Road and will be officiated by Pastor Willie Martinez. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando FL, 32822.
