In Memory Of
Frances Sue Sandberg
1926 - 2021
Frances was a long standing member of the Winter Park Presbyterian Church, a participant in the First United Methodist Church of Melbourne, a member of the Winter Park Women’s Club and enjoyed a great game of croquet with the Winter Park Croquet Club. It can be said that she “never met a stranger.”
Frances was a devoted wife for 59 years, a wonderful mother and “mamaw” and will be dearly missed. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life and she was famous for saying “I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.”
She is survived by her sons, Carl Robert “Skip” Sandberg (Debbie), Charles David “Chuck” Sandberg (Kelsie) and daughter, Cindie Bright Calise; grandchildren, Chelsea, Chad, Chase, Cord, Callee, Cameron, Anthony and Melanie; great-grandchildren, Elaina, Everett, Cora and Charlie; and sister, Sophia Anne Davis. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Bob” Sandberg, and brothers, John Charles Bright and David Bright.
Visitation is Monday, August 2, 2021 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am with a funeral service at 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, Florida 32792.
