Debbie Romero, age 64, was called home to the Lord on Friday, September 3, 2021 in Orlando, Florida. Debbie was born August 4, 1957 in Santa Ana, California. Debbie grew up in Titusville, Florida, attended Titusville High School and the University of Central Florida earning a BA degree in Education.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Barbara Payne, and her sister, Patricia Francis. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gus Romero, her daughters Susana (Derrick) and Sara and her grandchildren, Isaac, Isabella and Michael and many nephews and nieces.
Debbie was a kindergarten teacher who particularly loved to teach young children with special needs. She followed her passion of teaching for over 20 years in Seminole County Schools, and was selected Teacher of the Year in 1996.

Her daughters and grandchildren were the love of her life. Debbie was a mom at heart, always ready and willing to take care of her grandkids, nephews and nieces.
Debbie enjoyed reading, studying the Holy Bible, and watching her favorite programs - Friends, the Golden Girls and MSNBC.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Road Winter Park, Fl 32792 on Saturday, September 18th at 11:00am with internment at Glenn Haven Cemetery to follow.
