In Memory Of
Roberto V. Palavino
1946 - 2021
Roberto was a devoted and loving husband to Jocelyn Palavino. He was also a loving and father of Raeline Palavino. Roberto was a dedicated Catholic and did so by helping others.
Roberto came to the United States and became a United States citizen a fact he had taken much pride and joy in. He has also worked for Publix Supermarkets Inc in the produce department for over twenty-one years. Over those two decades working for Publix, he made many friends and a lasting impression on those that has been around him. Roberto had several hobbies in which he enjoyed. He loved to play chess and would often try to teach those who played with him about strategies to improve their game play. Cooking was his passion; prior to working for Publix he worked for Ran-getsu as a chef. If you knew him and had the chance to taste his cooking, you would not leave disappointed but rather over satisfied. He was an avid movie seeker, although he preferred action movies both foreign and domestic. He could watch movie after movie while eating his favorite movie snack, pizza. Lastly, he loved going to the beach as he did often both in the Philippines and Florida.
Roberto is survived by his wife Jocelyn Palavino, his daughter Raeline Palavino, and his brothers, sisters, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 15 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando. FL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 11:00 AM at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Rd, Orlando FL with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
