Debbie Bensey, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on November 27, 2021 at the age of 64. Debbie was born on December 13, 1956 in Elkins, WV to parents Tom and Marie Gilmore. She was loved and cherished by family and friends and will be forever in our hearts.

She was passionate for the love of her family, everything West Virginia, politics and making sure the holidays were extra special. She will be missed by her loving husband of 39 years John Bensey; daughters Courtney Marquez and Megan Bodkin and grandson Noah Marquez. Debbie is survived by her two sisters Kim Gilmore Gautschi and Bobbie Gilmore Eppinger. She also leaves behind her beloved pets Chessie, Dorie and Bo.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 18 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Debbie.
