Rita Lee Slotnick, age 78, of Casselberry, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando.
Rita was born on May 11, 1943 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Israel Walter and Fannie “Faye” (Dreayer) Kaplan. On March 5, 1966, she married her husband, Steven Slotnick, to whom she was married to until his passing in 1982. Rita spent her professional career working as a bookkeeper, and retired from Protegrity Services, Inc.
Rita is survived by her two daughters, Pamela B. DeAngelo and her husband, Joe, of Altamonte Springs and Ilene S. Gothelf and her husband, Michael, of Casselberry; five grandchildren, Stephanie Dorr, Kaley DeAngelo, Joey DeAngelo, Alexandria Gothelf, and Michaela Gohelf; two great-grandchildren, Richie Dorr, and Mason Dorr; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Kansky of Boynton Beach, FL
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steven Slotnick; and her sister, Wylma Needle.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ohev Shalom Cemetery, 6034 Old Winter Garden Rd, Orlando, FL 32835 with Rabbi Mendy Bronstein officiating.
