Franklin Anthony Paul is the fourth of nine siblings, born to Eustace and Evelyn Paul in the Caribbean island of Grenada. At the age of four, Franklin’s family migrated to Trinidad and Tobago. There, Franklin received his education in San Fernando SDA Elementary School. He then attended Southern Academy where he received his GED certificate.

At the age of twenty-two he migrated to America where he attended Westchester Community College. There he received his Associate’s Degree. Franklin then joined the US Navy where he served four years. Following his service, he worked with Westchester County as a restaurant inspector for 12 years. Franklin then moved to the state of Florida where he worked the state for another 12 years. There he also met his beloved wife, Jean.
Franklin had a wonderful sense of humor. He was an excellent cook and a caring husband. He also loved sports and loved dancing.

He has left to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Jean Paul; son, Michael Mitchell (Juliet); grandson, Michael Anthony Mitchell; siblings, Donaldson Hyacinth Paul (Carol), Joyce Monica Paul, Roland Paul, Ann Marie Abdullah (Lennox), Ian Trevor Paul, Joel S. Paul (Bridgette); and Allison R. Paul-Chance (Lennox); and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eustace Paul; his mother, Evelyn Paul; and his sister, Yulanda Grappie. May you rest in peace, and we long to see you on resurrection morning.

A visitation will be held from 10 – 11 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at University Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 9191 University Blvd, Orlando, FL 32817. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM.
