In Memory Of
Anne Marie Kopcha
1946 - 2022

Anne Marie Kopcha (Ree / Mimi / La Reina) of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, at Advent Health Hospital Altamonte with her loving daughter Carey Anne and close family friend, Lovel Evans constantly by her side. Anne Marie was born on August 11, 1946, in Pittston, PA, the youngest of 2 children and only daughter of Agnes and John E. Serovinski.

Anne Marie, her husband, Steve and daughter Carey Anne relocated from Elizabeth, New Jersey to Altamonte Springs, Florida in 1972 where she lived until the time of her unexpected and heartbreaking passing

Anne Marie had a great passion for her family, friends and for life overall. She was fun to be around, witty, funny, “punny” (she had a talent for exchanging puns with friend Lovel and others on Facebook), hardworking, an excellent cook, extremely thoughtful, strong, brave and a fighter to the very end. Anne Marie loved to travel the world and experience different countries, their cultures, their cuisine, and shopping. In her travels, she trekked up to the Acropolis in Athens Greece, which was a personal goal for her. She also rode a camel through the Sahara (Egypt), rode in gondolas in Venice (Italy), raced through the streets of Funchal, Madeira in a wicker backet sleigh and visited the country of her heritage, Poland, to name only a very few. Because Anne Marie strived to maintain an impeccable household, her email address name inherently became “nodustbuni.” Anne Marie loved celebrating all holidays, but her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved to shop and wrap gifts, bake Christmas cookies, and decorate each room of the house for the holiday, and decorate at work too! Anne Marie made Christmas so magical and unforgettable for her family and friends.

Anne Marie was a wonderful and dedicated wife, mother, and fur-baby mom, spoiling her family to no end. She was good hearted and always put everyone’s needs ahead of hers. As a mother, Anne Marie was caring, nurturing and became a best friend to her daughter in Carey’s adult life. As a wife, Anne Marie had an everlasting love and adoration for her husband, Steve.

Professionally, Anne Marie worked for Evan-Picone (NJ/NY) Supermarket’s General (NJ) and Miller Enterprises (FL). Anne Marie concluded her career working with Newman Family Medicine/FPMG where she worked in the front office assisting patients for over 20 years.

Anne Marie is survived by her only daughter Carey Anne and fur-baby Sochi (kitty). Anne Marie also leaves behind a select group of longtime friends, cousins and friends who have become family. Anne Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

……… La Reina Isabella has now joined her Christopher Columbus in Heaven to continue their journey together.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 335 E. SR 434, Longwood, Florida, 32750.
