Ruby Lea (Poston) D’Antonino, 88 of Orlando, FL. Passed away on April 3, 2022 in Orlando, fl. She was born on April 30, 1933 in Jacksonville, FL. To William and Myrtle (Revels) Poston.

Ruby was a retired LPN and Avon Representative and a member of the VFW. She loved Bingo, slot machines, crossword puzzles, reading and any word games. She also loved spending time with her family and had many stories to tell about her childhood in Crystal River, Florida.

Ruby was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph T D’Antonino of over 50 years, who passed away in 2010. She was also preceded in death by her mother Myrtle (Revels, Poston) Simmons and her father, William D. Poston. Also her stepmother Annie B Poston & Stepfather William J Simmons. She was also predeceased by her son Emory E Parsons, brothers Terry L Simmons, Juaris Simmons and sisters Glenda Leah (Simmons) Linton, Vivian (Poston) McDuffie & Hilda (Poston) McDuffie and stepdaughter Donna (Skinner) Worley, and a grandson, Aaron Skinner

Her survivors include sons Richard E (Jack) Sutton (Beverly), Douglas V Sutton, William D Parsons (Donna) and stepsons Joseph T Skinner (Martha) and Thomas A (Tony) Skinner (Margo), and her grandchildren Jennifer Sanders, Andy Sutton, Heather Parsons, Phyllip Parsons, NaCole Worley Rincon, Shawn Skinner, Kevin Skinner, Bruce Skinner and Jonathan Skinner. Also brothers Jimmie E Simmons, Charles H Simmons, Larry D Simmons and sisters Fay (Simmons) Byrd and Mary (Poston) Melcher. Ruby is also survived by many great grandchildren. Ruby is also survived by many family members of her late husband from the D’Antonino family.

A memorial service is being held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1pm at the Good Shepard Catholic Church at 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando, FL 32807. A reception will follow at the VFW on 3500 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822.
