In Loving Memory of
Dominic Daniel Munizzi
1937 – 2022

Our beloved Dominic Daniel Munizzi, age 84, of Lake Mary, FL passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his home in Lake Mary, FL.

Dominic was born on August 22, 1937 in Catania, Sicily, son of the late Salvatore Munizzi and Angelina (Manuele) Munizzi.

He was the first-born son & second-oldest child of 9 siblings. He migrated from Sicily to America in 1947.

Dominic married his beautiful bride, Carmen Cassone in 1961, and they spent the next 61 years together, until the time of his transition to heaven.

Dominic is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Munizzi of Lake Mary; two sons, Dan Munizzi and his wife, Martha, of Orlando, and Ron Munizzi and his wife, Tracy, of Deland, FL; two daughters, Joan Ingrao and her husband, George, of Winter Springs, FL, and Lorraine Carlson and her husband, Aaron, of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren; Angela Perez, Chelsea Munizzi, Danielle Munizzi, Sydni Munizzi, Nicole Munizzi, Nathan Munizzi, Joel Munizzi, Finn Morrison, Ronan Morrison, and Keren Morrison; four brothers, Sal Munizzi and his wife, Donna, of Ft. Myers, FL., David Munizzi and his wife, Angela, of Orlando, John Munizzi of Lake Mary, and Lee Munizzi and his wife, Amy, of DeLeon Springs, FL; and three sisters, Joanne DeMola and her husband, James, of Winter Park, Lydia DeMola and her husband, John, of Winter Park, and Nancy Pritchard and her husband, Barry, of Maitland, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Esther (Munizzi) Muse.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park with Dominic’s brother, Pastor David Munizzi officiating.

Visitation with extended family & friends will precede the service from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home on Friday, May 20.

Interment will take place in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL for immediate family only.

Immediate family & extended family are invited to a Celebration of Life Service that afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at EpicLife Church, 7033 Stapoint Ct. Winter Park, FL 32792 (lunch will be served).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of donations to Dominic's wife, Mrs. Carmen Munizzi.
