In Memory Of
Raymond G. "Ray" Rusch
1953 - 2022

Raymond G. Rusch, age 68, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2022, in Orlando Florida. Raymond was born on December 14, 1953 in Long Island, New York. He was the only child of Raymond L. Rusch and Edna (Giese) Rusch (predeceased).

Ray grew up in Dix Hills, Long Island where he met his future wife Denise (Arnaiz) Rusch whom he was married to for 41 years.

Ray went to Hartwick College in upstate Oneonta, New York. There he got a degree and gained life long friends who enjoyed reunions and family vacations together.

Ray moved his family from Long Island, New York to Orlando, Florida in 1994 to pursue a new job opportunity, build a new home, and be closer to his parents.

Ray worked for Datacom from 1994 to 2006 and JHT until he retired at the age of 62. His accomplishments in business and life were due to his charismatic personality and sense of humor.

His love for his New York teams, The Mets, Giants, and New York Rangers never diminished even after living in Florida for 28 years.

Ray was a devoted and loving father to Son Shaun M. (Ricardo) Coffey; Daughters, Rachel G. Rusch and Roxanne (Greg) Susko; and his beloved grandchildren, Aurora Susko (8) and Hunter Susko (6), and faithful schnauzer Layla (13 1/2).

Ray's life will be celebrated by his family and friends now, everyday and whenever the song "Blue Sky" by Allman Brothers is played.

Contributions in Ray's honor can be made to The American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, ASPCA, National Wildlife Federation, or a charity of your choice.
