Charles D. "Chuck" Arnold, 96 of Orlando passed away Monday August 8th. He was born in Atlanta, GA and moved to Orlando in 1994. He was a distinguished veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Chuck spent many years in the coin machine industry in Massachusetts, Illinois, California, New Jersey and Florida. Charities that he supported included Shriners Hospitals for Children, The Alzheimer's Association and Smile Train.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Mildred B. "Millie" Arnold in 2009. He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl L. Shutt of Hanson, MA and Deborah L. Powers of Plymouth, MA and by two sons, Charles D. Arnold III of Lenoir City, TN and Keith E. Arnold of Orlando, FL. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Bryan K. Shutt of Montreal, Canada, Jessica K. Kelley of Casselberry, FL., Sunni Apicella of Plymouth, MA, Charles D. Arnold IV of Petoskey, MI, Jesse Arnold of Bristol, CT and Cory Arnold of Yorba Linda, CA. And survived by 8 great-grandchildren, Madison Shutt and Marilou Shutt of Montreal, Canada, Vanessa Mallard-White of Lynchburg, VA, Noah Mallard-White of Plymouth, MA, Ryan Arnold and Tyler Chasse Arnold of Bristol, CT, Skyler Arnold and Phoenix Arnold of Yorba Linda, CA. as well his sister, Sharon Arnold Delisi of Clinton Township, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando. Interment will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, ATTN: Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607 or by calling 844-739-0849.
