Cindy Marie Bruner Maciel, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 13. Born on July 10, Cindy was a native of Palatka, FL and has lived in Orlando, FL for the past 1.5 years. She was a 1987 graduate of Palatka High School. Cindy was a mortgage underwriter for 20 years. She was a loving wife and mother to Walter and Sofia Maciel.

She would move mountains for both Walter and Sofia. Cindy was a best friend to many and a stranger to none. Cindy loved all things but was particularly fond of frogs, owls, Halloween, and orange roses. Cindy loved spending time at the beach and loved her dogs fiercely.

Cindy is preceded in death by Illine and Otis Richardson, and survived by her husband, Walter Maciel and daughter, Sofia Maciel, her brothers and their families, Dink, Chrystal, Tyler, and Aubree Richardson, Mark, Valerie, Taylor, and Amber Bruner, and her father Harry Bruner. Cindy is also survived by her best friends Donna Scapellati, Paige Gross, Franca Peralta, Beth White, and Jen West.

The funeral Mass will be held at Nativity Catholic Church 3255 N. Ronald Reagan Blvd. Longwood, Fl. 32750 on Monday September 19th at 11am.

Visitation at 10 am with mass to follow.
