Mike was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He moved to Winter Park in 1961 and worked for the Army - Air Force Exchange. He was the central Florida rep for Commerce Clearing House, publisher of business law, for over 25 years and retired in 1991.
Mike served in the Naval Reserves. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, traveling and being at home with his family and friends. He was a member of the Winter Park Jaycees and chaired the project “Gunboat for Charlie”. He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution and was proud of his long American heritage.
He is survived by his wife Ann; children Stephanie Maner (Micah Vincent), Michael Maner (Lisa) Wright, and Terri (Jeff) Schneider; granddaughter Rochelle Cloud; great-granddaughters Layla, Charlie and Macy; nieces Karen Middleton, Nancy Cleveland and nephew Parks Mitchell.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, FL.
Visitation will precede the service from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday.
Interment will take place on Thursday at 11:00 am at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.
