Betty Geraldine Golden, age 86, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Winter Park, Florida. Betty was born on April 6, 1936 in Washington, D.C. to parents Odia and Mary (Andrews) Chiles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odia and Mary Chiles; her husband, David Golden; and siblings, Walter Chiles, Marjorie Chiles, and Leonard Chiles.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Latimer, Delores Mavins, Morris Latimer, and Walter Latimer; sisters, Marian Deadwyler, Gloria Lennon, and Juanita Sanders; grandchildren, Correll Dodd, Robert Dodd, LaTanya Jones, LeJean Brown, Angel Mavins, Shannon Latimer, Javaree Latimer, and Janae Latimer; great-grandchildren, Tyson Stone, Zion Dodd, Zanna Dodd, and Robert Dodd, Jr.; and a host of extended family members and friends, all who will miss her greatly.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - Longwood, Florida. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.
