Stephen T. Bagley age 66 was greeted in the arms of our Lord November 13, 2022 at home with his wife by his side.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY. and was a proud New Yorker, especially supporting his favorite team the New York Jets. Steve had fond memories of camping in the remote area of northern New York at Mt. Park Lodge with his grandparents.
Steve proudly served in the US Navy as an electronic technician, first at Sub Base New London CT, and then aboard the USS Dahlgren DDG43. While stationed at Sub Base New London, Steve met the love of his life, Diane Hewlitt and they were married in Norwich, CT. He was a life time member of AMVETS Post 4, Norwich CT. They settled in the Norwich area and raised three boys. Family was everything to Steve. He always supported his boys in sports and also as a scout master.
He was employed at Electric Boat, Wyre Wynd as a truck driver and later as a bakery manager at Bid Y and Walmart where he was adored by his employees.
Steve leaves behind his wife of 43 years of marriage Diane, sons Steve Jr. and his wife Melani, Robert and wife Lisa, grandchildren Steven, Spencer and Justin. Steve was sadly predeceased by his middle son Michael.
At Stephen's request, all services are private for his family.
