Steve Joseph Smolko, age 62, of Sneedville, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022 after an 8 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Smolko.

Steve is survived by his father, Harry J. Smolko and sister, Teresa M. Smolko.

Steve was a man of many talents but his passion was playing the guitar. He was constantly growing his craft as well as teaching others who wanted to learn. His love for music was only surpassed by his love for his Heavenly Father.

He served proudly in the United States Air Force for 4 1/2 years before returning to civilian life.

Steve was a native Floridian but transitioned to live in the mountains of Tennessee in 2007. He loved his mountain home and the many friends he made in the 15 years he lived there.

He returned to Florida to be with his family after his cancer diagnosis and was surrounded by them and close friends at the time of his passing.

His devotion and love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

Graveside service is Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at All Faiths Memorial Park, 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707.

Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
