On Wednesday January 18th, 2023, Daryl Glenn Johnson loving Father, Brother, Grandpa, and uncle passed away unexpectedly at the age of 69.

Daryl was born in Orlando, Florida to Shirley and Abner Johnson on August 14, 1953. Who have preceded him in Death. He is survived by his six daughters, Tonya Pullen, Tara Morris, Bobbie Sue Faurot, Dea Dea Dios, Susie Stewart, Patsy Johnson and his Seventh daughter Lindsey Alsbaugh. Also survived by his brothers, Wayne Johnson, Donnie Johnson, and his sisters Brenda Montanez and Sherri Dodson. He has six nieces and nephews, 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in Death by his brother Tony Johnson. Daryl was the pillar of the family and will greatly missed.

Daryl had a lifelong career with Orange County Parks and Recreation for 45 years and has enjoyed retirement for the last 7 years catching up on all his sleep and traveling and spending time with his daughters and family. Family gatherings at his house were an almost weekend staple, riding go carts, motor bikes, and laughing and making jokes and playing practical jokes. Watching his family just be together and have a great time was how he loved to spend his time. He loved going to Karaoke with his daughters and watching them sing.

Daryl’s passion was his Family. He was an important piece to the family. He was reliable, considerate, affectionate, loving, caring, and humorous. He was an amazing father and a great supporter to his family. He always told it like it is and was never afraid to say what he thought. He had a humor and wit that can have the entire room rolling and laughing.
