In Memory Of
Joseph A Ervin Jr.
1959 - 2023

Joseph Arthur Ervin, Jr., passed away on March 7, 2023, after putting up a valiant fight against pancreatic cancer. Joe was born on January 11, 1959 in Sanford, FL, and lived his entire life in Central Florida. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Ruth and Joe, Sr., and by a sister and brother, Joann and Derrell.

Joe was a man of few words but enjoyed listening intently to those around him. Once introduced to the internet and YouTube, he was the first to investigate a solution to a problem around the house, with a vehicle, or piece of equipment. He loved his home on the Wekiva River, his truck, his boat, the FSU Seminoles, softball, fishing, and the game of golf. He also deeply loved his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Gina (nee Clark), and step-children, Kelly Wolfe and Alexander Ward, and granddaughters, Kyleigh and Carsyn Wolfe. He also leaves behind his sister, Beverly Grinstead (Frank) and brother, Terrell, along with many other cherished members of both sides of his family.

The family invites you to join us for a casual memorial service to honor Joe on Sunday, April 30, at 10:30 AM. The service will be held under the large pavilion at Wilson's Landing on the Wekiva River. The address is 379 Malekean Trail in Sanford, FL 32771. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to the charity of your choice.

This comforting reminder sent by a loved one during the final days of Joe's life..."Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12
