Anita Creaden Boyd of Winter Springs, Florida was born July 21, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She joined God’s choir of angels peacefully on March 24, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her son Edward Boyd of Glenside, PA; daughter Amy and son-in-law Kenneth Brown, of Winter Springs, FL; grandchildren Michael, Shannon, Jason, Tiffany, and Jeremy

Anita was Director of Volunteer Services at Winter Park Memorial Hospital (Winter Park, FL) for 18 years and Manager of the Auxiliary at Albert Einstein Medical Center (Philadelphia, PA) prior.

Anita was a dancer on American Bandstand; she was on the beach in Cocoa as Apolo 11 launched men to the Moon; enjoyed Disney's Magic Kingdom before it opened to the public in '71. Anita enjoyed traveling to Switzerland, England, Ireland, the Carribean, Mexico, and Alaska's Inside Passage with her WPMH Senior Friends.

She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting blankets, walking the beaches in New Smyrna, helping out at Clermont Florist and spending time with her grandchildren & family.
