Ervin A. Alexander, Jr. (Buddy), beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, passed away at his home on May 15, 2023, at the age of 83.

He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and served in the Army in the Armour Unit in Germany with Elvis Presley and also served for the Navy in Memphis, Tennessee. He retired from the Orange County Corrections Department.

He is survived by his two Daughters, Donna Howard (Lee) and Darlene Auer (Mike). He has three Grandsons, Christopher Mook (Heather), Matthew Mook (Tonya) and Justin Auer (Adrienne). He also had seven Great Grandchildren, Skylyn Mook, Kylie Mook, Liam Mook, Mia Auer, Ryker Mook, Jordan Brewer, and Hannah Auer.

He loved college football but his lifetime favorite was the Alabama Crimson Tide. Most importantly, he loved spending time with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking if you would make a donation in his name to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Newcomer Funeral Home will be providing a Gravesite Service to be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL on June 1, 2023 at 1:00pm.
