In Memory Of
Clinton Walker, Jr.
1942 - 2023

Whereas it has pleased our omnipotent God to remove from us our dear husband,
father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin,
friend, and neighbor, we bow in humble submission to him who is able to comfort
us in all our sorrow.

Clinton Walker Jr. was the only son born to late Annette Lindsey on November 26,
1942, in Millen, Georgia. He departed this life on May 19, 2023, in Altamonte
Springs, Florida. His older sister Flora Mae Lindsey preceded him in death.
Clinton received all his formal education in the Jenkins County Georgia Public
School System. He moved from Georgia to Philadelphia in 1960 at the age of 17.
One of his first jobs was at Colonial Gardens Nursing Home in North Philadelphia
where he met the love of his life Pearl Williams. They were married on May 23,
1964, and bought their first home in South Philadelphia where they raised three
daughters.

Clinton worked on the maintenance team with Pearl for 26 years at Settlement
Music School - 416 Queen Street in South Philadelphia. They retired together in
2003 and in January 2018, the couple moved to Florida. This was the first time
Clinton had taken a plane. He was known to either drive or take the train when
traveling.

Clinton has always been a well-loved, humble gentleman, who will surely be
missed by everyone that knew him and his “Million Dollar” Smile.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 60 years Pearl Walker; three daughters Wanda
Mahoney, Annette Walker, and Marlene Walker; five grandchildren William, Tia,
Amina, Shawanda, and Anita; six great-grandchildren Bryonna, Zamire, Aaliyah,
Amber, Brooklyn, and Zion; hosts of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Sleep on Dear Clinton and take your rest,
We all love you, but God loved you best.
