Richard Lee "Dick" Grandstaff, 94, passed away on May 22, 2023 in Lake Mary Florida.

Dick was born on April 8th 1929 in Columbus Ohio to Jay and Hazel (nee Brown) Grandstaff. He graduated from Ohio State University, and married Jane Ann Richey on August 8th 1954 in Centerburg Ohio.

After serving stateside in the Army during the Korean war, Dick and Jane became the proud parents of Steven and Michael Grandstaff. At the end of a fulfulling 25 year career, Dick retired as Vice President of Operations at General Telephone and Electric in Muskegon, Michigan. In retirement, Dick and Jane spent twenty plus years snow-birding in Destin, Florida before moving closer to their children. Dick enjoyed presiding over the Muskegon, Michigan chapter of the American Red Cross, and was an avid golfer his entire life, proudly one-upping both of his sons with two hole-in-ones.

In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his two brothers, Doyt and William "Bill" Grandstaff.

Dick is survived by Jane, his beloved wife of 68 years, Steven(Lisa), Michael(Roxane), his six grandchildren, Allison Grandstaff, Emma McIntyre, Alon Cohn,Cara Couture, Gabrielle Grandstaff, and Richard "RJ" Grandstaff, and seven great-grandchildren spread throughout the Midwest and Northeast.

A private service for the immediate family will be held in Longwood, Florida on May 30th.
