Nicasio E. Mora, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the home of his eldest daughter, Maria Goff. He was born in Cuba and grew up in Placetas, Las Villas.

His passion, as a younger man, was his farm and his cattle business. After arriving in the United States with his family in 1963, he worked numerous jobs to raise his family, no job being too menial, as long as it was honest.

He was predeceased by his parents, Nicasio Mora and Consuelo Izquierdo and his youngest daughter Cristina Mora Thomas.

Nicasio is survived by his Children, Maria C. Goff, Luisa Nagel, and Nicasio S. Mora; Grandchildren, Donna Goff Choudhry, Donald E. Goff, Jr., Eric Nagel, Jeffrey Nagel, Alexandra Thomas, and Samantha Thomas; as well as 10 Great-Grandchildren.

He died without ever returning to the country of his birth, but dreamed of his beautiful Cuba often.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
