Alejandro Domenech Maldonado, born December 30, 2001, passed away on June 7, 2026, while he was sleeping. Alejandro was a young man whose vibrant spirit and passions left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Alejandro spent two years at Ave Maria University, a place he cherished deeply. It was there that he met his first love—a beautiful chapter in his young life marked by genuine affection and heartfelt connection. His time at Ave Maria was filled with meaningful experiences, not only academically but personally, where he was both loved and loving in return.

His love for Naples was profound. Having lived there for a year, Alejandro found great happiness amidst the sun, sand, and sea. He delighted in visiting the beach, enjoying the local restaurants, and immersing himself in the vibrant nightlife and clubs that Naples offered. Those times were some of the happiest in his life, reflecting a joyful and adventurous spirit.

Music was another of Alejandro’s great passions. He played music himself and had the opportunity to collaborate with several artists, blending creativity with friendship. Alongside his musical talents, he was a dedicated writer of science fiction, an interest that intertwined with his deep love for biology. His passion for understanding life was evident in his academic pursuits and personal enthusiasm.

Athletically gifted, Alejandro played both football and soccer during his high school years and continued at the university level. He thrived on the teamwork, discipline, and physical challenge that sports provided, embracing an active lifestyle that reflected his vibrant energy.

At the time of his passing, Alejandro was finishing his degree at Warner Christian University. He looked forward with hope and ambition to completing his studies and embarking on a career in the field of biology—a path that combined his intellect, curiosity, and compassion.

Alejandro’s love for animals was well known among family and friends. He held a special place in his heart for guinea pigs, capybaras, and dogs, cherishing the unique bond he shared with these creatures.

A devout Catholic, Alejandro’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. He loved Christ and lived as a devoted member of his faith community, finding strength and comfort in his beliefs throughout his journey.

Alejandro will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. His warmth, creativity, athleticism, and kindness created a life that touched many. A memorial service to honor his memory will be held at St. Peter’s in Lake Mary, with the date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Alejandro's name to Seminole County Animal Services.

Rest in peace, dear Alejandro. You are loved and remembered always.

With love,
