Alex was raised in East Roane County, TN on a small farm owned by James H. And Amy Ann Woodard along with his siblings. James Harris II, Dolores Ann, Diana Kay, his twin, George William, Amy Lou, and Margaret Arleen.

Alex leaves behind one son, Alexander F. Woodard II and other family include Marlene, wife of James, Gene, husband of Dolores, Jim, husband of Margaret, Bob, husband of Amy. Nephews and nieces include George Sanders, Philip Woodard, Jamie Woodard, Ashley Pannell Kline, Mariah Campen, Taylor Campen, Raylynn Tipton. The above listed are the loving family and many friends left behind.

An elder for College Park Presbyterian Church, Orlando, FL. An employee of Florida Turnpike Enterprise as a Technician. An avid blood donor as well as a tissue organ donor (the gift of life).
