Ana Fernandez

Ana Fernandez, age 79, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at AdventHealth Orlando Hospice Inpatient Unit in Orlando.

She was born on January 9, 1946 in Caguas, PR, the only child born to her late parents, Vicente Sola and Ana M. Rodriguez.

Ana is survived by her loving husband, Rafael Fernandez; her three children, Rafael E. Fernandez and his wife, Lori, Jorge R. Fernandez, and Ana Maria Velez and her husband, Andrew.

Growing up on her father's farm, she learned a lot about nature and cooking from her parents. She, in fact, loved it so much she studied to be a florist and was really good at it. Ana had a green thumb for planting and loved to take care of her vast collection of flowers and plants, especially her orchids. As a homemaker, she would make some of the best food anyone could taste. She would always look for new recipes, especially those from Spain and Europe. She was a true caregiver, always lending a hand to those who needed it. A very spiritual person, she would attend mass on Sundays and pray the Rosary. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

 A Memorial Mass will be held for Ana at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Rd Orlando, FL 32812, on October 16th, 2025 at 11 am.
