Ana Maria Segarra

Ana Maria Segarra, 90, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1936 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. She was preceded by her husband, Carlos Segarra to whom she was married nearly 60 years.

Ana was a wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a friend. She is survived by her children: son Carlos Segarra and wife Evelyn Segarra, daughter Maria Segarra and husband JC Rodriguez, grandson Ashton Segarra.

Ana was known for her strength, resilience, generosity, kindness, positive and happy spirit, always putting others before her. She was the kind of person that will take her shirt off to give to someone that needed it more than her.

She found her greatest joy in taking care of her grandson Ashton. She loved gardening, reading, listening to Latin music and dancing.

Ana battled cancer for the past 3 1/2 years, through all her treatments she remained strong and positive.

Ana touched so many lives in so many ways, she leaves a hole in our hearts and will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family and friends.
