Andrea Selena Fredda of Altamonte Springs, FL a beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend passed away on January 27th, 2026. Her sudden loss was unexpected, and her family and friends are profoundly saddened. Andrea was only 29 years old.
Born on October 16th, 1996, she was a long-answered prayer and adored by her whole family. Welcomed with excitement by her three older cousins, all girls, all born in October (the 10th,14th & 18th in fact) she was literally made for our family and meant to be. That little girl, born on the 16th of October completed the “Grandchildren branch” of the family tree.
Andrea was born in Orlando, Florida and was the only child of Danny & Lily Fredda. She graduated from Oviedo Highschool in 2015 and attended Valencia Community College, where she eventually wished to pursue a career in nursing.
Andrea grew up in Oviedo. She enjoyed cheerleading, loved music, going to music festivals and (undoubtedly instilled in her by her mom) the beach and the Miami Hurricanes. Andrea was inducted into the cousin crew flawlessly, where she took on support roles in song and dance sing-alongs performed for the whole family and DIY news anchor positions filmed by the older littles. As bossy as they surely were Andrea adored her older cousins and they loved her very much. Before long Andrea was on the receiving end of this gift when her aunt welcomed triplets and Andrea got to take on the title of the older cousin. She did with great love and delight. This suited her well and her compassion and love for them shined brightly.
Andrea enjoyed the beach and spent many days playing in the surf with her Grandpa Vic and the other girls at the condo they owned in New Smyrna Beach. Andrea was raised in Aloma United Methodist Church where she was baptized and confirmed to the Lord she knew and loved. Her Grandma Nancy was always seen around church with her in tow, happy and smiling. Her Grandma loved to share the love of Jesus with her and helped to shape her into the faithful, kind & giving woman she became. Andrea loved her dad very much and she was his greatest gift. Without a doubt anytime you would see the two of them she would be propped up on his knee, snuggled in his arms, both beaming with pride. From a very young age she loved to get on the back of his motorcycle. She shared a post on her birthday one year that read “On the back of my dad’s bike, literally best gift ever!” Andrea’s mom was her best friend and confidant. She loved and was loved by her fiercely. They really enjoyed each other and pampering themselves on girls’ days out with food and pedicures. They complimented each other, if you had the pleasure of seeing them together you surely felt their bond. Andreas Grandparents from her mother’s side were Lucy and Tito. They were kind and doted on Andrea with great delight. Lucy, among many things, taught her a warmth & softness, that she would go on to share with others. Tito was probably the first to ever make her laugh (and she had a great laugh) how to be silly and how to dance like no one is watching.
Andrea loved to enjoy life, music and food. Her favorite was a seafood boil where she would smile that huge, beautiful smile after sucking the head off a crawfish. She cherished her friends and her family. She loved her dog, Charlie. Andreas friends have shared how incredibly giving of a person she was. How she always showed up, even if she herself was running on empty, to offer her support and kindness to the people she loved. She would hold you for hours if that were what you needed. Andrea had the ability to make her friends feel safe, special and loved, like everything would just be alright. A gift they will treasure.
When you think of Andrea, we hope you remember the light she brought into this world and shared with so many. Picture her dancing in the sky and go and live your life to the very fullest, in her honor.
Andrea was reunited in Heaven to her mother Lily Fredda, her Grandparents Vic and Nancy Fredda and Tito and Lucy Tortolini. She is survived by her father Danny Fredda, aunts and cousins who will carry her spirit forward with love and pride, until we meet again.
A celebration of life will be held for Andrea in the coming weeks, details to follow.
