Antonio Alejandro Vazquez, 23, of Orlando, Florida, died in his home on August 22, 2025.
He was born on March 19, 2002, in Kissimmee, Florida, to Anthony and Marielis Vazquez.
Ever since he was little, he had an obsession with Disney and their monorail system. His dream came true when he became a monorail pilot, a job he loved and took pride in. Every day he went to work with his head held high and his Zootopia backpack over his shoulder. He loved inviting his family to ride with him and share in the joy he found there.
Another of his greatest passions was My Little Pony. A proud Brony, he made many lifelong friends through the fandom. He attended conventions that brought him joy and gave him the chance to bring laughter and smiles to others. He was beloved in the community and will be forever cherished.
However, behind his happy moments, he faced challenges with his mental health. In addition to celebrating his life, his family wishes to highlight the importance of compassion and awareness around these struggles. While we deeply grieve his loss, we also hope his memory will encourage others to seek help, speak openly, and care for themselves and one another.
He is survived by his mother, Marielis; his father, Anthony; his sisters, Amanda and Lauren; his nephew, Anakin; his mother’s fiancé, Corey; Amanda’s partner, Chris; his grandmother, Maritza; his aunt, Maritza; and his three dogs, Aiko, Chimmy, and Copper. He also leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jose and Carmen, whom he affectionately called Papi and Mama, and who now welcome him with open arms.
To the My Little Pony community, he will be remembered by his online name IronCaptain19, where he found that friendship truly is magic.
Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
