Barbara A. Hawkins

Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Hawkins, 84, of Orlando, FL entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior and a host of loved ones on Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born on October 5, 1941 in Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Hub) Hawkins; her parents, Grover Reece and Mable Reece; her brothers, William Reece and John Reece; and her sister, Linda Brooker.

She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Sanders, Tampa, FL and Lisa Mitchell, Alexander City, AL; her daughter, Sherri (Eric) Johnson, Alexander, NC; her son, Ronald (Carol) Hawkins, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Taylor Hawkins, Ashlee and Robby Sanders, Anthony Hawkins, Timmy and Casey Mitchell.

Bobbie was always a kind-hearted, caring person who would help in any way she could. Her husband was the love of her life and her mother was her best friend. She was always up for an adventure, road trip to visit family in Alabama, visits to Walt Disney World or down to the 7/11 for a bunch of scratch-offs. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved dressing up her mom in crazy outfits and doing photos ops to send cards to family members. She was always a faithful friend to many neighbors and church family.
