Benjamin Allen Griggs

July 8, 1988 – May 19, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Benjamin Allen Griggs, who went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026, at the age of 37.

Ben was born on July 8, 1988, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to Stan and Regunia Griggs. He was known for his kind heart, quick sense of humor, and deep love for his family, friends, and church community. Those who knew Ben will always remember his infectious laugh, compassionate spirit, and special love for dogs.

Ben graduated from Winter Park High School and continued his education at Crown College of the Bible in Powell, Tennessee. At the time of his passing, he was pursuing further studies at Southern New Hampshire University. He faithfully worked for many years as a medical courier with Labcorp, where he was known for his dedication and reliability.

Ben enjoyed all things Star Trek and Star Wars and could always be counted on for a good conversation about his favorite fandoms. More than anything, Ben treasured the people in his life and the memories made with those he loved.

Ben is lovingly survived by his wife, Jessica Griggs; his beloved dog, Chase; his parents, Stan and Regunia Griggs; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Vickie Parker; his sister, Jennifer Gillet; his brother-in-law, Brad Gillet; and his nephew and niece, Matthew and Riley Gillet.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Mary DeLois Yount, Harold Griggs, and Dorothy Bizzle.

We are confident in knowing that Ben is now in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, fully healed and at peace.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at CrossRoads Baptist Church, 414 Ridge Road, Fern Park, FL.
