Beverly J. (Eaton) Roe, born on May 26, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 29, 2025 in Clearwater, FL.
She married the love of her life, Gregory Roe, on April 20, 1967 and their union lasted an impressive 58 years after he preceded her in death just this last June. Together, they created a warm and loving home, filled with laughter and cherished memories, such as annual family vacations to Pompano Beach, where they gathered as a family to celebrate life. Her grandchildren were particularly special to her, she would often glowingly speak about them and her face would light up with excitement during visits and FaceTimes with them.
Beverly worked for Orlando Health at Arnold Palmer Hospital for over 20 years, before retiring as a birth registrar in 2016.
Beverly was an avid softball player where she formed many long-lasting friendships. She also kept score of baseball and softball games, including the Clearwater Threshers games she attended. Beverly also coached her daughters at Union Park Little League. She also loved to bowl, and traveled to Reno to compete in the US Nationals.
She loved to read and was passionate about traveling, exploring destinations like Hawaii, the Mediterranean, Alaska, Tennessee, Washington D.C., and frequently returning to her roots in Indiana to be with family. In her later years, she discovered the joy of cooking, and loved to try and cook new recipes to share with family and friends. Beverly enjoyed watching QVC daily, while speaking with her sister Vicki and sharing the treasures they were shopping for. Her closet is a testimony to the many items she purchased!
Beverly was blessed with a large and loving family. She leaves behind her children, son Jeffrey A. Roe and his wife, Lorraine; daughter Michelle Talbert and her husband, Scott; daughter Jennifer Roe-Kneer and her husband, Chris; and son Kyle Roe and his wife, Rochelle. She was a proud grandmother to Clay Roe and his wife, Julia; Keriann Jones and her husband, Nate; Camden Roe and his wife, Natalie; Gavin Roe; Hayden Talbert; Erica Lonergan and her husband, Joshua; Isabell Kneer; and Lisa Kneer. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, including Harrison Roe, Kirra Smithwick, Noah Kneer, Journey Kneer, Nevaeh Neal, and Olivia Neal. Beverly is also survived by her sister, Vicki Logan, and her husband, Dennis; and three brothers, Steve Eaton and his wife, Pat, Rob Eaton and his wife, Diane, and Mike Eaton and his wife, Pam; and a sister-in-law, Cindy Eaton, who fondly remember her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Madonna (Throckmartin) Eaton; her husband, Gregory Roe; and a brother, Bob Eaton.
