Bonnie "Colleen" Wollam

April 30, 1928 — March 27, 2025

Orlando

It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt reflection that we announce the passing of Bonnie Colleen Wollam on March 27, 2025. A cherished wife to the late Norman E. Wollam, who passed on March 10, 2000. She loved him so much that she remained a widow for the rest of her life. Born on April 30, 1928, Colleen graced our lives with her vibrant spirit and unwavering devotion to her family, epitomizing the depth of love and resilience she cultivated throughout her life.

Bonnie, who was affectionately known to many as Colleen, embarked on her educational journey at Ohio State University, where she was a huge fan and she would faithfully watch all their football games. She dedicated her life to the care and support of her loved ones, enriching their lives with her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering strength. Colleen's family was her pride and joy, it was her role as the nurturing heart of her family that defined her.

They have two daughters and a son who lived throughout the years in Bradner, Ohio; Joliet, Illinois; Moline, Illinois; Bowling Green, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida

She leaves behind her beloved son, John Wollam, who carries forward her legacy with grace; one brother Ralph Gillespie, whose companionship enriched her days and his four children Sherrie Holcombe, Terrie (Dave) Koziel, Cindy Hendricks and Ralph (Lynn) Gillespie, also a Devoted Aunt/Great Aunt to many who she loved very much and will miss them all greatly.

She was the daughter to her late parents, Robert Lewis Gillespie and Velma Marie Schell Gillespie, who instilled in her the values of hard work and kindness that she embodied throughout her life.

She loved life and only wanted to go home on her last day on earth. She left this earth with the angels of God on a peaceful journey.

She will never be alone for now she will go home to heaven to her mother, father, brother Robert and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann who was married to her brother Ralph. She will reunite with her husband Norman and her youngest daughter Lynne who passed on June 13, 2015. They are all together in heaven forever and ever..

Godspeed...

I love her for ever and ever.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Colleen's memory to the First United Methodist Church, 206 S. Hopkins Ave., TItusville, FL 32796 for the education of children.
