Carla Sue Church

Carla Sue (Weatherholt) Church, 71, of Holopaw, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, on December 18, 1953, to the late David and Louise Weatherholt.Carla married the love of her life, Charles R. Church, in 1973, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and hard work. In 2000, they moved to Holopaw, where they continued to share countless memories surrounded by family and friends.Carla was a proud retiree of the Osceola County School District, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 2010. Alongside her husband, she also helped run the family trucking company and cherished the many trips she took on the road with him.She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in her family. Carla is survived by her husband, Charles R. Church; her son, Charles R. Church Jr. (Digger), and daughter-in-law LeAnne Church; her stepdaughter Ginger Bridges (husband Jerry Bridges); her beloved granddaughters Lacee and Caylee Church; her grandsons Jimmy Lavender and Jonathan Bridges; and her great-grandson Jaxson. She is also survived by her brothers Tim Weatherholt and John Weatherholt (wife Donna), and her sister-in-law Deneanne Weatherholt as well as many nieces and nephews.Carla was preceded in death by her parents, David and Louise Weatherholt, and her brother Paul Weatherholt.Carla will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the deep love she had for her family. Her kindness touched all who knew her, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she inspired.
