Carlos T. Díaz Castro 1961–2026 Carlos was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, on November 5, 1961. He was the son of Miguel and Rosa, and the brother of Miguelon, Daniel, and Lydiette. He came into this world with the purpose of serving, helping, and always giving his best to those who had the privilege of knowing him. He distinguished himself in each of his roles: as a son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend. He was an excellent professional who left an indelible mark in every place where he worked, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues, supervisors, and collaborators for his dedication, integrity, and firm commitment to excellence. His experience and generosity led him to become a mentor and inspiration to many throughout their professional lives. We will never forget his wise advice nor the pleasant conversations he shared, as Carlos could talk about practically any topic. He enjoyed reading, learning, and always staying at the forefront. He also leaves us the memory of his countless anecdotes as a traveler and the joy with which he lived each experience. But above all, he was an exceptional friend: generous, loyal, and sincerely committed to those he loved. He was a deeply grateful man, who also received the affection, respect, and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Your absence hurts deeply, but your essence will never disappear. You will live on in every anecdote, in every smile, and in every laugh you gave us, as well as in the immense love you sowed in so many hearts. We were all blessed to have shared, in one way or another, life with a being of light such as Carlos. Our faith allows us to fully trust in the plans of our Heavenly Father. Today we lift our prayers so that God may receive you with open arms, grant you eternal rest, and provide strength, comfort, and peace to all of us who love you and will always love you.
